About the Course
This course is specially designed for those working in education and care settings, focusing on delivering critical first aid to infants and children. It aligns with the guidelines from the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other national peak clinical organisations, emphasising responses to asthma and anaphylaxis emergencies, which are common in such environments.
Targeted towards early childhood workers, educators, and anyone involved with school-age children in outside school hours care and vacation programmes, this training equips participants with the skills needed to manage a range of first aid situations confidently.
This express version of the course minimises classroom time, requiring only 3 hours of face-to-face interaction, complemented by pre-course learning online. The training is conducted in a completely paperless format, supporting an environmentally friendly learning approach while ensuring effective, hands-on practice in first aid techniques.
